Attraction Marketing for the Network Marketer

Attraction marketing is the hot thing for network marketers because it means getting rid of those nasty cold calls, scaring your friends and family away, and actually becoming successful in your business.

There are a number of e-books on the internet about attraction marketing, but here's a basic recap.

Know your target market: Since network marketing is less about selling products and more about selling business opportunities, the best market are people who have bought into network marketing before, or people that are already researching your business opportunity. This is because these people already know and believe in the value of network marketing, so you will have to do less work to get them on your team.

Don't sell your product, sell yourself: Find out what your target market needs and give it to them. For example, a person who has done network marketing before might know that the potential income is endless, but maybe they got burned out because they could never recruit anyone to their team. In this case you would offer them a solution to successfully recruit people. This puts you int he position of an expert that they know and trust, and they will be more likely to buy into your opportunity.

Where to offer people solutions: The three main places to talk to people are forums, social networks, and article websites.

Forums are great because people deliberately go there to discuss their concerns about everything, including how to be successful in home businesses. Go there and offer your advice (not your company though) and eventually they will ask you about your company and maybe even if they can join your team.

Social networks provide a similar atmosphere except you can also add blogs, send e-mails, post pictures, videos, etc. If you sign up for a social network, make sure to make it personal. People need to know you are real to buy into your opportunity. Post pictures of your family, your dog, and your favorite landscapes. Write blogs about your day to day actions, what baby Fred did to the wall, and how your grandmother makes the best chocolate chip cookies in town. However, make sure that your business information is readily available on your profile, but not overwhelming.

Writing sites offer the most longerterm attraction marketing, because articles never disappear. You can use sites such as Squidoo, Ezines, and Apsense to write articles relating to your business. Blogs are a good source too. You can write about anything from your companies sales, to marketing tips, to Company comparisons. Write about anything you think someone might want to know about, and write often. The more content you put out there, the more people will see it, and the more people that will be attracted to your knowledge.

By using these general methods, you can get people coming to YOU, asking about YOUR product or business opportunity. You'll never have to bug your friends and family again. You'll never have to cold call either. It takes time to build the relationships, but once they are there, it's difficult to turn the faucet off. You will have a full inbox of prospects every day.
